Get ready for an unforgettable hands-on experience with our “Feed & Eat” tour during the lambing season!
Farm visits in May are extra special because it’s lambing season, giving guests a rare chance to sense the daily work and natural rhythms of the flock during this important time. Your visit begins with a feeding tour where you’ll have the chance to hand-feed our sheep and feel the lively atmosphere that lambing season brings to the farm. And if we’re lucky, there might even be a chance to hold and cuddle a lamb.

Along the way, you’ll learn about the unique Faroese sheep culture as we share stories, traditions, and insights into how these remarkable animals have supported life on the islands for generations.

Afterward, enjoy a delicious lunch back at the farmhouse for Heimablídni, featuring traditional Faroese dishes prepared with our own produce and mostly local ingredients.

Your day ends with a special sheep-event just outside the farmhouse, where the host feeds the rams and shares fascinating stories about how they’re selected as breeders and their importance to the flock — a fitting finale to a day spent experiencing the true pulse of lambing season on the farm

Menu / Lunch

Meal : Enjoy a selection of tastings from traditional Faroese sheep meat, served the local way on rye bread. Alongside the tastings, you will also be served a hearty Faroese sheep soup with meat, bread and vegetables. Faroese brewed beer and sodas are included.

Dessert : Homemade cake with tea or coffe.
